It was a shock for us to get a call from Gary Chalk. Heathe had tried contacting his agent about doing an interview, but we had no response for quite awhile. We assumed that either he didn't want to do the interview, or was just too busy to get back with us. Then, out of the blue, he calls.

Gary Chalk is the voice of Optimus Primal on both Beast Wars: Transformers, and Beast Machines. Aside from playing the leader monkey on these shows, he also is the voice of Slash on Mainframe's flagship cartoon, Reboot. Mr. Chalk has made a major contribution to the world of animation with his voice, and he has also appeared--in real life--on screen.
